#Showbiz: Shiha Zikir takes her hat off to hardworking veteran artistes

KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Shiha Zikir is amazed to see the spirit of some veteran artistes who put their ego aside to do all sorts of jobs during these difficult times.

The 33-year-old artiste said that while some of the seniors could easily make use of their big names to seek sympathy from the public, they never abused it but instead, opted to work hard to earn an honest living.

"I'm sad to see the plight of some veteran artistes who are affected by the pandemic.

"But at the same time I laud the effort made by some veteran artistes who put up live shows on social media," she said in a news report today.
